Sizing Guide

Find your Size

What are Maison Candelé standard sizes?

All our styles and patterns are created in-house by our own team and we have created custom recommended size charts for each and every item individually. Yes, every item has its own size chart that are slightly different from one another.

You can find the specific size charts on each individual product page by clicking on "Size chart". To use the size charts correctly, please see more below on how to get your measurements.

Based on the size charts, our items are true to size. If you are in-between sizes and unsure, we would recommend to reach out to us at info@maisoncandele.com or through our social media channel for one of our team members to recommend the right sizing!

How do I get my measurements?

Most sizing uses 3 measurements: Your Bust, Waist, and Hips. Using a cloth tape measure, take down the circumference of each. Remove your clothes beforehand to ensure accurate measurements.

Please note: for Made-to-measure orders, we will add an additional 0.5 inches/1.3cm to the measurements you provide for our Made-to-Measure items, to ensure your dress is not too tight. Please let us know if you’d prefer otherwise.

To measure your Bust:

Place one end of the tape measure at the fullest part of your chest and wrap it around your body, bringing it back to the front. It should go under your armpits and around your shoulder blades. Make sure the tape measure is level.

To measure your Waist:

Wrap the tape measure around your waist and measure at your natural waistline, which is located above your belly button and below your rib cage. If you bend your torso to the side, the crease that forms is your natural waistline. Make sure not to suck in your stomach or it’ll alter the measurement.

To measure your Hips:

Start at one hip and wrap the tape measure around your rear, around the other hip, and back to where you started. Make sure the tape is over the largest part of your buttocks. For best results, use a mirror to ensure the tape measure is level.

For some pieces, we may ask for additional measurements and preferences like dress length or hem type.

For the best accuracy, you can get measured professionally by a tailor near you.

If none of the standard sizes fit your measurements, most pieces can be purchased “Made to Measure” for an additional fee: Instead of choosing one of our standard sizes, you can give us your exact body measurements and we’ll make something that fits you perfectly.

Please note: for Made-to-measure orders, we will add an additional 0.5 inches/1.3cm to the measurements you provide for our Made-to-Measure items, to ensure your dress is not too tight. Please let us know if you’d prefer otherwise.
